For Brittany...

Well, I had all but given up on blogging, but my friend Brittany has been nagging me to update my blog, so here it goes...
I love this time of year!! So much to reflect on and be thankful for! We have moved into our house and we love it!! Cassidy absolutely adores her new kindergarten teacher and has ran into the school building every day since she started without looking back. Which was a nice change from crying and hanging onto my leg when I would take her to preschool! We were able to find a good preschool for Carter and he has so much fun there! I love seeing my kids learn and grow! I can't believe some of the things that Cassidy is already learning! Today she told me all about the pilgrims and the Mayflower! I don't think I learned about that until 3rd grade! I can't believe the things these young minds can grasp!
Corbin had his first birthday on Oct 11th. I can't believe my little baby is 1 already! He is absolutely adorable and knows that he can get away with anything just by flashing his sweet smile! He has so much personality and I have had so much fun with him. Cassidy is an amazing help too. She absolutely loves to play with him and keeps on eye out for him at all times! I am so thankful to have such a sweet little girl to help me! Maybe that's why #3 has been the easiest baby!! Cassidy does most of the work!! lol

Speaking of Cassidy, she is about to turn 6 on Nov. 30th. I am blown away at what a beautiful, sweet, and caring little girl she is! I love her so much and have loved having her in my life over the past 6 years! I wouldn't trade her for the world!

And then there is Carter.... what can I say... he's a little boy (which means trouble) with a lot of heart (which means sweet). I don't know where I'd be without my kids!! Maybe a little more sane... and a lot skinnier!! But not near as happy... that's for sure!!

As for me... I am trying to get adjusted to Colorado. I was so excited to move away from Montana, that I didn't realize what it meant, exactly. Having to make all new friends, getting used to a whole new rhythm in a new house. I'm sure things will get better soon, I had just forgotten what it was like to start all over in a new place!

So, that is a nutshell of our lives the past few months! I know it's not much, but it's late, so forgive me!
And since it is Veterans day and all, I would like to give a shout out to all of the military men and women who serve this great country! It's hard to comprehend the difficulties of having a deployed spouse. Yes, I am a military wife, but my husband doesn't have to deploy (at least not yet and most likely he won't have to at all). There is a difference. There is only 1 person that I know personally that has had to deploy. So, I would like to extend a very respectful thank you to Korry. I really appreciate you and the courage it took for you to leave your beautiful, wonderful family to go and serve our country! You will be blessed for it and I know that your family is being watched over. I have seen how hard this had been for Brittany and I so wish I could be there to help her with anything at all. I can't imagine the difficult task of taking care of 3 very young children without having a husband around for 8 months... and not having any family around to help. You are an amazing family and I am so blessed to know you! Good luck and be safe over there!! We miss you and are looking forward to seeing you in February!
I will try to be better at posting!! Sorry for the random pics... I don't know how to get them where I want them!! LOL
